Phil Slattery
Phil Slattery has had an interest in art since his days at Eastern Kentucky University in the late 70 s, when an artist friend first introduced him in to the world of art. Since then Mr. Slattery has been studying art on his own and visiting museums and galleries whenever possible. Only within the last two years has he decided to take up a brush and put his self-education and experiences to the test in both traditional media and in digital images. His works may usually be found at the Art Center of Corpus Christi. Currently, he also has works exhibited at the Island Art Emporium on Padre Island. Although not easily visible in the 2D medium of the Internet, his works make use of not only color and form, but also texture to a large degree.
